I love to bake...but I don't love to measure. So, just go with what FEELS right – you can't mess up this recipe.

I have baked this apple crisp every Thanksgiving for as long as I can remember and each year I modify it, on my quest to make it more nutritious and delicious.

INGREDIENTS:
Apples thinly sliced (approximately 1.5 for every person)
Unsweetened apple sauce (approximately 1/2 cup for every person)
Cinnamon (lots!)
Baby Brain Organics (2 Tbsp)
Oats (approximately 1/2 cup for every person)
Coconut Oil (approximately 1 Tbsp for every person)
Coconut Sugar or Sucanat (approximately 1 Tbsp for every person)

DIRECTIONS:
Grease pan with coconut oil. Place thinly sliced apples, apple sauce and cinnamon in baking dish. Coat apples with apple sauce. Spread out evenly in dish.

In a pot on low heat, mix coconut oil, oats, cinnamon, Baby Brain Organics and coconut sugar. Just until oil melts.

Sprinkle oat mixture evenly over apples.

Bake at 350F for approximately 40 minutes or until topping is golden and bubbling.
